The 2011 RNR Rally took place at
The Stourbridge Bonded Warehouse
between June 16th-19th.
59 RNR members boats attended.
The rally followed the now traditional format of workshops and educational sessions during the day time and entertainment in the evenings.
The bar featured
beers from Enville Ales,
the Kinver Brewery and a very new brewery located in Halesowen,
Angel Ales.
Also local cider from
Tardebigge Cider and some more bottle conditioned ciders
from Wrenbury Cider.
The guest entertainer on Saturday was Harvey Andrews, a local legendary writer of songs.
Born in Birmingham, Harvey felt quite at home with us in Stourbridge
Supporting Harvey was Trish Pink, who some of you will remember sang at the Atherstone rally.
One of the highlights was an impromptu rendering of Danny Boy with Trish on vocals and resident RNR harpest
Jamie Mason. [Video by Steve Burt - Clicking HD gives reasonable video
and sound quality.].
There was also a re-run of the Ukulele Orchestra [RN] and some jamming sessions from the RN ensemble!
